You may never have heard of AgeTech. But it’s worth learning and knowing about, because it represents a whole raft of opportunities to improve your life.
AgeTech is part of the “Longevity Economy” – meaning – the availability of technology to address the quality and quantity of your life, with the intent of making life in general far more pleasurable, safe, and convenient. It represents digital approaches to everything from health, to safety and security, from communication, to your money and finances, to travel, and even fun!
Granted, we older adults can be frustrated or even angered when technology interferes. (I hate AI assistance that gets in my way when I need a real human being on a customer service phone call!)
But for the most part, digital solutions to needs and wants can and do improve our lives immensely, often with little or no learning curve.
If you answered YES to any of these questions, then you’ve already gotten started using AgeTech!
It helps us tackle the challenges of growing older using digital tools.
…. and as time goes on, we might as well get used to it because there are very few chances we’ll be able to avoid it.
